My story

My love affair with ceramics began in the Whitnall High art room in 2010. I was fully mesmerized by the process from start to finish.

After high school and for a few years past college, I lost touch with creating and felt intimidated by the prospect of finding a studio until I stumbled upon my first home at Creative Fire in Wauwatosa.

Immediately put at ease by the supportive and light hearted community of artists there, I started to explore again. And, with the help of my sweet and talented new friends, I built more confidence and remembered how to love the process.

From Milwaukee, I migrated to Washington DC, where I'm continuing to create and learn. Currently, I am a community artist at District Clay Center.
